Drive to the Grand Canyon from Phoenix

The drive from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon is a remarkable experience.  These pictures do not begin to do it justice.  Basically, you are going through several distinct ecosystems (and also rising nearly 6,000 feet).  Also, everyone told us we should go through Sedona.  They were right, go through Sedona.  And make sure it is daylight when you go through Sedona.
